Months, several months after FilteringEnabled, (The crappy "server protection" system that doesn't even really work) was forced upon all the games, I visit Arcane Adventures again when it broke because of FE. This is what happened: Arcane adventures was shut down for a while, and people questioned it. It was later reopened as a broken game, claiming FE had screwed up lots of the code.
This was true because I tried joining it, I went onto the main menu and joined the Third Sea. It didn't load into the game, therefore I got sad and abandoned it. I came back to it recently and joined again, this time, I got into the game, excited, I loaded up. At this point everything was smooth. I was a "Villain" at the time so when I destroyed buildings the guards come. I destroyed one. Really, most of the main mechanics worked until the NPC's blew me back. I kept going backwards.
So this was what happened to the code, the NPC patterns are screwed. They don't move but attack. I tried spawning my Ketch, the wheel only appeared. Then it disappeared. This got me thinking about trying to find all the bugs. Most of the game was actually fine when I was stuck on a huge island city. Everything seemed to work. Even found a few other players there for the nostalgia. Vetex had started a new game already called "Adventure Story," an adventure game somewhat resembling pokemon, but tweaked.
So, at that point my mind was spinning, the game was mostly OK, only because if a game is left dead for long enough things start to break. The game could still be fixed, with enough help. This is why I'm posting here. I'm trying to spread the news that the game still has a chance. Either way, it was very successful and would be good to have two good games running at the same time. This is why we should find out more bugs, list them out, and get some good scripters to possibly repair and bring back the game we all love. Either way, Vetex can't keep developing on his own, even if he is doing just one game. The community is getting too big.
