Chests are interactable objects that drop a wide array of items when opened.
Chest Variations[]
Chests[]
Chests are the most common type of chest that can be found. These chests have a respawn time of approximately 7.5 minutes and spawn in pre-determined locations around each sea. They usually contain low value loot, but a low chance to yield a valuable item; these chests have a rare variety called Gold Chests, which yield better and more loot.
Its appearance is that of a wooden chest with a bronze framing, the uncommon variety of this chest has a more polished look with what appears to be a gold framing and the rarer variety has an even more polished look with a brighter paint job.
Chests also have a chance of spawning in enchanted, which will apply a purple smoke particle effect on the chest. Enchanted chests are garaunteed to drop an enchanted item.
Chest take 7 minutes and 30 seconds to respawn.

Aurem Chest (Red lined chest)
Red line chest can spawn in the place of a normal chest and will grant Aurem. These chest can grant anywhere from 8-28 Aurem per chest. the chances of find one are as followed, 1/50 (2%) chance of a chest being an Aurem Chest when normally respawned. 1/40 (2.5%) chance of a chest dropped from pirate ships being an Aurem Chest, however, if the pirate ship is a Frigate, at least 3 chests are guaranteed to be an Aurem Chest. Lastly, 1/30 (3.3%) chance of a chest dropped from the Kraken being an Aurem Chest.

Cargo[]
Cargo is found floating at the surface of waters. These chests spawn seeming randomly around the seas and usually contain low value loot and with a low chance to yield a valuable item. They have the same loot table as the standard chests, with a slightly different enchantment rate. It is also the only chest type to be collidable.
Its appearance is that of a wooden crate.

Ghost Chests[]
Ghost chests are chests that are exclusively found around Ghost Shipwrecks, spawning only after a Ghost Ship reaches it's designated wreckage. They are chests that glow brightly with the color respective to the Ghost Ship. These chests are not much different from regular ones, except for how ghost chests are able to give the player a single Ghost Item based on the ship.
The Bermuda Locket, however, does not spawn any Ghost chests.

Gold Chests[]
Gold Chests are a rare variety of the common chest introduced in v3.3 of Arcane Adventures, removed in the v4.5 update (The Final Update), and were reintroduced in Arcane Reborn. There is a 1/50 chance that these chests will spawn in the place of a normal chest.
Visually, the gold chest is that of a yellow/golden chest with a silver frame and is about twice as large as a regular chest. A large silver lock is tied to a golden chain barely holding the chest shut, shown as how the contents of the chest are visible through the opening between the lid and the print.
All gold chests guarantees an item with at least a rare rarity, as well as having a much higher chance for items found inside to be Enchanted. Additionally, as of v1.1, Gold Chests now drop three different items in one chest. Gold Chests also contain 2 armor sets exclusive to them, the Black Robes of Magic and the White Robes of Magic.

Dungeon Chests[]
Dungeon Chests were introduced in the full release of Arcane Reborn (release v1), these chests cannot be found normally anywhere around the maps of the First, Second or Third Seas.
They can only be found at the end of Dungeons and are guaranteed to drop a single item based on the loot table of its respective dungeon. Each dungeon has its own loot pool, but they all contain the Gold Chest loot table in addition to their own loot. Four dungeon chests can always be found at the end of a dungeon, and the amount of them a player can open changes based on the dungeon party.
- 1 Player (Solo): Player can open all 4 chests for themselves.
- 2 Players (Duo): Player can open only 2 chests.
- 3/4 Players (Trio/Full squad): Player can only open 1 chest.
In appearance, it is a large wooden chest with gold framing held shut by a sky blue chain.

Legendary Chests[]
Legendary Chests are the rarest chests in the game. These chests only appear to the holder of a Legendary Chart, the chart will show a riddle that the general location of a legendary chest. These chests will always contain one random legendary weapon out of the five available.
Its appearance is a reskin of the gold chest. It is a green-colored chest with a gold framing with a golden lock tied to a green chain that barely prevents its contents from spilling out.

Discontinued Chests[]
Silver Chests[]
Before v4.5, Silver Chests could not be physically found and only obtained through purchasing them with ROBUX in the Menu. The Silver Chests were removed as of v4.5 (The Final Update).
Previously, it could be bought through clicking the Menu button in the bottom-left corner and then the Silver Chest Icon. Each Silver Chest can only be purchased twice every 12 hours and cost 50 ROBUX each.

Black Magic Chests[]
Black Magic Chests were a version of the Chest introduced in v4.5 (The Final Update) and were removed entirely in Arcane Reborn. These chests could appear wherever a standard chest can spawn; overwriting them.
When clicked on, the Black Magic Chest will be added to the player's inventory. While inside the inventory, it may be clicked again to be opened with a Chest Key.
Its appearance is that of a black-coloured wooden chest with red framing and a purple chain holding it shut.

Winter Chests[]
Winter Chests were a type of chest that rarely spawned in place of a normal chest during the 2020 Winter Event. They held Christmas and winter related items.
Presents have several variations in terms of appearance, though despite the texture differences they all have the same mesh.
All presents guarantee an item with a Seasonal rarity. Some presents have special loot pools, such as a bigger light blue variant that guarantees a piece of the Winter Master Set.
Trivia []
- During the Egg Hunt 2017 event, there was a chance that the Chest Egg would spawn in place of a chest.
- During 2021 Easter Egg Hunt, Chest Eggs spawns near all chest variants.
- Before Arcane Reborn, the Gold Chest was added to the player's inventory. While inside the inventory, it may be clicked again to be opened with a key that could be bought with Robux.
- If chosen not to be opened, it could be sold for a large amount of Lamina from shopkeepers.
